Not all
has yet been released on what weapons we will see
in Return To Castle Wolfenstein, but here's what we've
been told we can expect so far, with some images of the
real-life versions to get your mouth watering:
Fairbairn-Sykes Combat Knife
Use this when you really wanna give your enemies a horrid death (or if you just happen to run out of ammo ;)).
German Luger 9mm
The Germans in WW2 were all issued this baby, so expect to see alot of em firing round after round at you with this one.
The MP-40 (Machine Pistol)
You'll have a blast mowing down the Germans with this fully automatic beauty.
British STEN "Silenced" MKII (9mm)
Although the STEN had the rather odd looking side magazine loader, it aims to please. And pleased you'll be when using this baby.
U.S. Thompson M1928A1 (.45 ACP)
Commonly known as the "Tommy Gun", this is a truely brutal automatic weapon that'll make your enemies look like a pile of shredded meat after unloading this on em.
German K98K Mauser
The standard "shoulder" weapon of the Germans. Be sure to act fast when you see yourself in the crosshairs of this baby, it's 7.92x57mm bullets hurt like hell!
MarkIIA1 "Pineapple" Grenade
The standard US soldier hand grenade. This baby has a 4 second clock once you pull the pin and 10 yard killing radius, so use this one wisely!
M24 "Potato Masher" Grenade
The popular stick handle grenade carried by the Germans. Rumor has it this grenade has a long fuse, and that you'll have enough time to pick it up and throw it back at the nazi that tried to kill you!
German MG-42 HMG
The MG-42 Heavy Machine Gun is definately a weapon you only want to be behind of. A tripod (fixed) gun that will be found in the game, you'll come across Germans posts with these once in awhile. And although they have em, you'll be able to use em ;).
Gewehr (Sniper Rifle)
A superb weapon which is used mainly to defend a base in scout towers. Its zooming capablities is simply amazing to kill any soldiers from a certain distance without being seen!
Rocket Launcher
This weapon is without a doubt a true classic! This awsome weapon can shoot at long range and is mostly used against heavy armored tanks. It was also used against a pack of soldiers during surprise attacks!
Flamethrower
A weapon truely for the pyro in all of us ;). You'll be able to torch your foes to a crisp with this baby. But watch out, some of the Germans will have protective armor against it!
Tesla Gun
A secret project of Himmler's scientists, the tesla gun unloads hundreds of thousands of volts of electricity in a spidering direction. Gettin your hands on this weapon will truely make for a satisfying experience ;).
