of the Moment - Breakout by Menzel
Description This is a good solid town map by denzel washington, hollywood star no more, denzel has turned into a mapper for rtcw only, after his quality film film training day he said and I quote "ive had enough of acting, I feel I must follow my destiny now, and thats mapping for rtcw" So this is the first installment from him or perhaps this is joke of extreme poorness and its really a map by Menzel (I can hear you thinking, man thats a long way from being a denzel washington joke, but my shirt has smelt intensely of washing powder all day so im feeling odd) You can go into many of the buildings in this one, this is one thing that really does take time and effort, especially in keeping each building different from the next and the variety in the housing is top notch, cant of been easy to build such a large map and have so many different types of buildings in. The map overall is a good solid map, theres no real wow factors anyplace though and it could maybe do with some more eye candy and the sky isnt too good (the hills are lime green) but you dont really see them much its not really a problem, its just a thing he might want to change sometime or for his next map. This is one map that should be on a custom server out there, excellent variety of buildings, quality brushwork, rspeeds and fps, It could probably do with more "wow!!" factors but can we still be wowed? I dont know, I have just played on devil may cry on the ps2, so maybe at the time of doing this my judgment is slightly different to normal since that games got a wow factor on every turn, it does after all look like its meant to and has impressive stuff really and I think we take for granted the scaling and look of the map, it looks like a town and its realistic, so you cant really complain.
